Republic Cement recognized by Malacañang for outstanding performance in Responsible Mining, Environmental Conservation, and Safety Excellence

MANILA - Republic Cement executives received the 2023 Presidential Mineral Industry Environmental Award at the Malacañang Palace last October 16. President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., along with Department of Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga, conferred the awards during the ceremony which took place at Malacañang Palace.  

Presented by the DENR-Mines and Geosciences Bureau (DENR-MGB), the awards ceremony recognized organizations that have demonstrated outstanding performance in environmental conservation and safety excellence. 

Republic Cement CEO Roman Menz and Republic Cement & Building Materials President Renier Dizon represented the proudly local cement manufacturer, which took home two Presidential Mineral Industry.
