DTI Chief tours Republic Cement plant in Bulacan



Norzagaray, Bulacan. Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon M. Lopez toured Republic Cement & Building Materials, Inc. plant premises in Norzagaray, Bulacan. The Norzagaray plant is engaged in the manufacture, development and, sale of special and blended cement.

Republic Cement Services, Inc. President Mr. Nabil Francis explains state-of-the-art cement manufacturing technology using alternative materials to Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon M. Lopez, together with Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. COO and EVP Mr. Sabin Aboitiz.



The plant tour gave an overview of the cement manufacturing process from the preparation of the raw mix, burning, milling, to packaging. Republic Cement representatives further shared about the company’s plans to expand its cement and clinker capacity in support of the government’s ‘Build, Build, Build’ campaign.
