Republic Cement North Luzon Cluster which comprised of Republic Cement & Building Materials, Inc. Norzagaray and Bulacan Plants and Republic Cement Land & Resources, Inc. proudly joined the yearly celebration of National Women’s Month by spearheading a successful event last March 23, 2019.
With the theme “Let’s Make Change Work for Women,” the activity showcased individuals and women’s groups conveying their message of empowerment and self-determination through Zumba dance and movement.
The event was participated by various cooperatives that had been beneficiaries of the Cluster’s projects, teachers and school staff, and other Zumba groups from Barangay San Mateo, Barangay Bigte, and Barangay Minuyan. Awards and other collaterals were given to the best individual and group performers.
It has always been a part of Republic Cement’s advocacy to promote women empowerment and celebrate their active role in nation building. This kind of activity provides an enabling environment for women to showcase their talent and at the same time, a venue to acknowledge their successes and promote their wellness.
