Republic Cement was recognized by the Asia CEO Awards 2018 as a Circle of Excellence awardee in the CSR Company of the Year category. This award is a special distinction that recognizes and appreciates an enterprise’s effort and commitment to build healthier, more responsible, more informed and prosperous communities through its generous investments in both time and resources to push community development programs that teach our underprivileged Filipino brothers the correct concepts covering values, health, livelihood, environmental protection and awareness, and youth development.
The nomination was strongly grounded in the initial success of Republic Cement’s Kusina ng Kalinga in Batangas, followed by its expansion to Bulacan, as well as other initiatives that help enhance the state of health and nutrition in our communities, among others.
