Republic Cement Teresa plant was recognized as one of the companies with the Best Environment Technology and Best Available Practices in Solid Waste Management during this year’s Annual Environment Summit by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environment Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) Regional Office No. IV-CALABARZON held last July 24, 2018.
This summit showcased Best Environmental Technologies and Best Available Practices highlighting solid waste management practices implemented by different industries, local government units, and other partner agencies within the region. The event also featured display exhibits and presentation of updates, practices, and technologies both of the government and private sectors. Teresa plant has also been chosen as one of the exhibitors during the summit.
